There are a few key physical features that will allow you to identify your CPU card.
Capen
The Capen is a green laminate, Pentium class CPU card. It is a socket 7 card with 4 SIMM sockets.
Unlike all other Crystal CPU cards, it has a large brown cache module socket (CLEP socket).
This is located between the CPU and the SIMM sockets.
HX
The HX is a green laminate, Pentium class CPU card. It is a socket 7 card with 4 SIMM sockets.
Unlike all other Crystal CPU cards, it has a pair of small, shiny, aluminum heat sinks loacted
near the CPU.
TX
The TX is a red or green laminate, Pentium class CPU card. It is a socket 7 card and 2 DIMM sockets.
It is the only Crystal Pentium class CPU card that uses DIMMs instead of SIMMs.
GXi
The GXi is a red or green laminate, Cyrix CPU card. It has a permanently affixed CPU (no socket) and
4 SIMM sockets. It is the only Crystal CPU card with 2 compact flash card sockets. These are
white sockets mounted above the CPU.
Crystal Flex
This is a red or green laminate, Pentium III/Celeron CPU card. It is a socket 370 card with 2 DIMM sockets
above the CPU. It is the only red or green laminate socket 370 card.
Celeron LC
The Celeron LC is a green laminate, socket 370, Celeron CPU card. It has 2 DIMM sockets above the
CPU. The Celeron LC has a heatsink on the on the chipset next to the CPU.
TRBX-GX
The TRBX-GX is a green laminate, Slot 1/Slot 2 CPU card. It has 2 DIMM sockets above the CPU.
Some versions of this card are dual processor capable. All versions of this card use the same
drivers. This is the only Slot 1/Solt 2 CPU card offered by Crystal.
Crystal Dual GX
This is a red laminate, Dual Pentium III CPU card. It is a socket 370 card (2 CPU sockets) with 4 DIMM sockets
above the CPU. The Dual GX uses the 440GX chipset.
Crystal HE-SL
This is a red laminate, Dual Pentium III CPU card. It is a socket 370 card (2 CPU sockets) with 4 DIMM sockets
above the CPU. The Crystal HE-SL uses the ServerWorks HE-SL chipset.
Crystal Xeon
The Crystal Xeon is a green laminate, Xeon CPU card. It is a socket 603 card with 2
DIMM sockets above the CPU. The Crystal Xeon uses the E7500 chipset.
Crystal 4M4
The Crystal P4 is a green laminate, Pentium 4 CPU card. It is a socket 478 card with 2
DIMM sockets above the CPU. The Crystal P4 uses the 845E chipset.
TR Flex
The TR Flex is a green laminate, Pentium III/Celeron CPU card. It is a socket 370 card with 2
DIMM sockets above the CPU. Unlike other Socket 370 cards, it has a metal bar running lengthwise,
down the center of the card.
